In 2015 bracht Rockstar het 5e deelde uit in de reeks van Grand Theft Auto serie. Een game serie welke ik eigenlijk altijd links heb laten liggen want bij de gedachte van GTA kreeg altijd een deja vu van een Lan Party (1999) waarbij dit veel gespeeld werd (GTA 1) en over de boxen het zeer irritante geluid (sirenes) kwam van vele politie wagens tot in de vroege uurtjes ( brrrrr >:( >:( )

GTA 1

Deze topic gaat over GTA Online en niet over de GTA 5 Single Player [website: http://www.rockstargames.com/V/GTAOnline

Tot oktober 2016 toen ik toevallig op een You Tube filmpje klikte waar de Bikers DLC voor GTA Online werd geshowed na dit filmpje kwam ik op een GTA Online kanaal van 4 Nederlands gasten die deze game speelde. Ik heb me suf gelachen en mij getriggerd om deze game ( welke nog steeds aan de prijs is ) aan te schaffen.

Ik heb nu 3x met Sytes Online gespeeld en dat was gewoon lachen. Het spel is pure anarchy in een virtuele stad Los Santos - je bent een character die zich op kan werpen tot een grote maffia baas waarbij alles geoorloofd is. Je moet wel uit de handen blijven van de politie. Het is spel is PVP georiënteerd en bestaat uit diverse player instances van 16 man max (PC)

De Online wereld is echt huge en bestaat uit een bestaande wereld een aantal modes om te spelen zoals:

Open-World Crime & Chaos

Go on your own or round up your friends to explore the open world together – catch a movie, hit the shooting range and much more. Want to test the law? Knock over a convenience store, take down a gang or rob an armored truck for easy cash and Reputation. The wide open world of Los Santos and Blaine County in Grand Theft Auto Online are teeming with opportunities to paint the town red whilst chasing the almighty green – including:

Hold Ups
Players can rob convenience stores, gas stations and liquor stores alone or together for cash. Robberies will trigger a wanted level that will be shared among the perpetrators.

Armored Vans
As armored vans go about their daily rounds, players can ambush and rob them for cash. Chase ‘em down with a rocket launcher or C4 explosives or a well-timed crash and blockade to make off with some sweet currency.

Crate Drops
Look to the sky, you never know what sort of surprises may be dropping in. Arms, ammo, cash or something rare and unexpected. Crate drops are available once you reach rank 20 and have completed a Job from Trevor.

Import/Export
Simeon Yetarian of Premium Deluxe Motorsport is looking to employ individuals with flexible work hours and the skill sets to ‘find’ and deliver select vehicles for a handsome cash reward. Keep an eye out for his incoming texts.

Bounties
Can you really put a price on a dish best served cold? In Los Santos, revenge has a price point that you can gleefully assign to an unwitting adversary to make them the target of every hired gun on the map.

Impromptu Deathmatch
If it seems like you’re getting a little too much attention from one particular admirer by means of picking you off repeatedly, you can feel free to make things personal by engaging them in a one-on-one Impromptu Deathmatch in a place of your choosing to settle the score

Freemode Events

Freemode Events in Grand Theft Auto Online are a new advancement in open world gameplay, giving players access to a range of seamlessly integrated games and challenges in GTA Online’s Freemode. Taking full advantage of the latest generation of consoles and PC hardware, there are no menus, lobbies, or load times – just an open Freemode session filled with Friends, Crewmates, rivals, and randoms where spontaneous and chaotic new games and challenges will appear.

One of these events can kick off at any given moment while in Freemode, and you can customize your session to decide exactly which ones will happen – so you can play as much or as little of this new content as you like. Co-op Missions
They say you’re defined by the company you keep. If you surround yourself with savvy criminals who share the view that “good honest pay” is overrated, there’s no limit to what you can accomplish. Rub out enemies, deliver valuable contraband, destroy targets, steal coveted vehicles and more with the help of trusted allies or the nearest person of flexible moral fiber who is ready, willing and able to join forces for fun and profit. Or take part in special co-operative Survival missions, where you and your allies work together to stave off an armed enemy onslaught that gets progressively more brutal - at each wave, new gear will become available to help you stay alive and fight the good fight.

VS Missions
These missions pit one team versus another – and sometimes additionally against a hostile third-party like a gang you’ve both ripped off or a relentless LSPD police force. See which squad emerges victorious in explosive scenarios of combat and pursuit.

Deathmatch
Trigger and tailor free-for-all and team Deathmatches either on foot or in vehicles. Choose your preferred settings including number of teams, victory conditions, time of day, and weather.

Gang Attacks
Players roaming the open world may stumble upon an AI gang hideout - ripe to be trespassed and assaulted. Work with teammates to take them down and reap the spoils.

Heists
Heists are full-on cooperative missions that require careful planning, teamwork and sharp execution. You’re also able to utilize the Heist Planning Board at your apartment to ensure your caper game plan is airtight.
