Aangezien ik de enige ben in STA die dit heeft, en het officiële forum vol staat met klachten hierove, besloot ik ook maar is een ticket te sturen, aangezien het probleem na patch 1.2.2 niet verholpen was, zoals beloofd.
Kreeg binnen 5 mins een live agent chat, na wat praten stuurde hij me een mail. Ik moest wat crash dump files en een dxdiag sturen.

We recently released Game Update 1.2.2, which contained a fix for players experiencing crashes to desktop. This crash specifically occurred on characters who had trained a high number (greater than 100) of crew skill schematics, or had a large number of items in their bank or inventory. We can now confirm that while this fix has significantly reduced the number of crashes caused by this issue, it has not yet fully resolved the problem for all of those affected. We are working to provide a complete resolution in a future patch and apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Dus wachten op een volgende patch, ondertussen had ik vandaag weer paar CTD's...
Dus als je je vault en inventory leeg kiepert en je gooit je crafting skill weg als je meer dan 100 schematics hebt geleerd, dan ben je van de CTD af?
Ik zeg.... Doen 😉

Ik vind het bullshit, want zelfs met mijn nieuwe republic characters crash ik, en die hebben geen volle vault, inventory of 100+ schematics.
Maar goed, ze meoten iets de schuld geven, en meeste spelers hebben dit natuurlijk wel. Alleen Dashea en Dashwyn hebben veel in de vault, maar niet vol, hebben veel schematics, maar niet 100+.
Ach ja..
Ik vermaak me voorlopig erg goed op mijn Smuggler. Ben nu level 18 en vooral in pvp.. tjonge jonge, gaaf man! Ben Scoundrel, kan dus camouflage gebruiken. Geef iemand een rotschop, dan ligt ie 4 seconden op de grond, ondertussen knal ik hem overhoop, heerlijk! 😛

Nu word er zogenaamd aan gewerkt in een volgende patch
Reken maar dat ze aan dit soort zaken niet "zogenaamd" werken
Jawel, maar wees eerlijk dan. CTD komt door meer dingen, anders crash ik niet op lvl 3 😛
Ik denk dat ik in totaal nu 5 CTDs gehad heb, sinds dat ik TOR ben gaan spelen.

Ik heb sinds tor online is, in totaal maar 1 of 2 keer een CTD gehad. Verder gelukkig niks. Maar het ligt niet alleen aan tor daarmee. Het ligt er ook aan wat je erachter hebt draaien.
Media, downloadproggies, alles wat ook maar een beetje geheugen gebruikt doet er aan mee.
Het is wel raar dat ze het onderzoeken. Ik heb gelukkig weinig tot geen last.

Ik heb tot 1.2 nergens last van, dus das bijna 5 maanden geen problemen. Ligt niet aan mij
Het kan ook zijn dat 1.2 iets voor het eerst gebruikt, bijvoorbeeld een routine op de grafische kaart, die in jouw driver net een probleem geeft.
Nee ik heb in TOR geen CTD gehad tot nu toe.
Hebben jullie nVidia kaarten of ATI?

In the meantime, the following troubleshooting steps may be useful.
Deleting the cache may help with the issue you are experiencing. You should be able to find the cache if you navigate to the following (If installed in the default location):

In this directory if there is a file called "DiskCacheArena" then please delete it and attempt to re-run your client.
Also, if you are running Windows 7, please try running the game in Windows XP service pack 3 compatibility mode. If you are using Vista, please try using Windows XP service pack2 compatibility mode.
