De multiplayer van Battlefield 6 is komende week tijdelijk gratis speelbaar.

Dat hebben EA en Battlefield Studios aangekondigd in een blogpost over de nieuwe content die gisteren is verschenen. De gratis periode begint op 25 november en loopt tot 2 december.

Gedurende die periode kunnen mensen vijf verschillende modi en drie verschillende maps gratis ervaren zonder de game te hebben gekocht, waaronder Cairo, Eastwoord en Blackwell Fields. Qua modi worden onder andere Team Deatchmatch, Sabotage, Conquest en Breakthrough genoemd. Meer informatie over de gratis periode volgt volgende week.

Zoals gezegd is gisteren een nieuwe update voor Battlefield 6 verschenen waarmee nieuwe content voor het eerste seizoen is toegevoegd. Daaronder valt onder andere de nieuwe map Eastwood, alsmede een tijdelijk speelbare modus, nieuwe wapens en diverse aanpassingen.

Battlefield 6 en de gratis battle royalegame Battlefield: RedSec zijn speelbaar op pc, PlayStation 5 en Xbox Series X en S. Ron beloonde de game met een score van 88 in de review: "De singleplayer is je moeite niet waard, behalve als je houdt van onbegrijpelijk schrijfwerk en waanzinnig slechte eindes. Gelukkig is dat ook amper relevant, want Battlefield 6 bevat een van de beste multiplayermodi in de serie. Ik had graag een extra Conquest-map gezien, maar de militaire feel, strakke actie en waanzinnige destructie gaan ervoor zorgen dat ik deze game nog tientallen uren ga spelen."

Gisteren was het eindelijk zover het langverwachte deel in de Europa Universalis reeks werd gisteren gelanceerd.

EU V is alleen via Steam te koop en komt in 2 edities: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3450310/Europa_Universalis_V/

Het spel is wel aardig aan de prijs maar staat wel garant voor vele uren spel plezier. Deze game wordt zeker aangeschaft ! Als STA hebben we EU IV er lang gespeeld waarbij ik persoonlijk heel veel spel plezier aan beleefd heb en heeft bijgedrage aan het bijspijkeren van de nodige geschiedenis kennis !

Red Alert 2 is wel beschikbaar op zowel EA als Steam maar is niet geoptimaliseerd voor de moderne PC's van tegenwoordig en daarmee is de speelbaarheid erg verkleind. Nu bestaat er wel een CNC variant maar deze is niet 100%.

Er is misschien toch nog een alternatief namelijk: Red Alert 2 - Chrono Divide. Dit is een Red Alert 2 variant die zich in de browser afspeelt.

Als je hem opstart vraagt hij wel naar de orginele files maar een backup link is beschikbaar.

Misschien is dit een keertje proberen waard.
