Er zijn nu best wat wapens die status - disabled hebben - een DEV kwam met het antwoord.
We are definitely planning on bringing these back. They are currently disabled to avoid causing more problems than they solve.
The long-term goal is to give each heavy weapon a unique characteristic and attack, as well as improve the overall visuals and activation of each of them.
These will not be Commando only weapons either. They will be distributed to a much wider audience as well as Commandos.
Unfortunately there's no ETA for this enhancement, but it is high on my priority list as I'm quite fond of flamethrowers.

WTF? ze kunnen zeker geen OO-programmeren. Het is eigenlijk eitje om elk wapen te convertere of uit spel halen.

Extra Info over waarom de Heavy weapons disabled zijn.
They're disabled for a few reasons
The first is that each weapon should have a unique character and functionality. This means dedicated design, implentation and testing time to truly do these weapon justice. This is currently scheduled, but I cannot give a formal ETA.
Additionally, we're not satisfied with the visuals on these weapons currently. For example, the flamethrower will shoot flame straight into the air, or shoot small pieces of flame in a circle around your character during use. This is how they've looked since launch, but I'd like to correct this visual issue before we consider them ready.
We would also like to make some of these weapons available to each class. The old paradigm of commando's using these weapons exclusively doesn't apply as much with the NGE. This doesn't mean they won't get cool hardware to use, but there are enough of these specialty weapons that other classes can partake as well.Dan Rubenfield
