Jullie hebben hem vast ook wel gehad, de Star Wars Homing Beacon email.
Ik vind dit wel erg gaaf.

It's finally here: The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia. Updated for the first time in a decade, the definitive Star Wars reference from Del Rey has expanded to enormous proportions. The three-volume boxed set weighs in at almost 11 pounds, and took seven expert Star Wars authors to research and assemble. It is packed with illustrations, drawn from over 30 years of Star Wars storytelling. Even the most obsessed Star Wars fanatic is guaranteed to learn something new. Observe:
Naming Names: It is not generally the place of an encyclopedia to create new information, but this book does uncover some previously unpublished facts that were generated about given characters, but for one reason or another, have not come to light. For instance, Faskus and Kiara from the Legacy of the Force novels are included here under their previously unpublished surname of Olvidan.
Sidebar Illustrations: In several key entries there are sidebar illustrations that collect related imagery as a handy reference. Want to see all the competing Podracer types in the Boonta Eve Classic? They're here, as are all the notable Sith Lords that use the name Darth (including some never before pictured). One impressive sidebar is a collection of lightsaber handle images that serves as crucial reference for fan costumers.
Going Back in Time: Since this book arrives 10 years after the previous edition, you might expect all the new information comes only from material published since 1998. Not so; this Encyclopedia has gone back and covered items from 1977-1998 that were once deemed too obscure. The original Marvel Comics series, for example, has found renewed interest thanks to Dark Horse Comics reprints and characters like Lumiya and Fenn Shysa appearing in recent novels. Material from sources that have been long out of print are now finally included in the Encyclopedia... even (gasp!) "The Star Wars Holiday Special!"
Going Forward in Time: The new book also looks to the future, with information related to future projects -- some of them top secret. You just have to know where to look to find a clue or two about, say, upcoming Clone Wars episodes. Hey, what's an "Orto Plutonia" anyway?
The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia is available from StarWarsShop signed by all seven authors: by Steve Sansweet, Pablo Hidalgo, Daniel Wallace, Bob Vitas, Mary Franklin, Chris Cassidy and Josh Kushins.
