Free-to-Play Video Game Is Ultimate Online Destination For A New Generation of Star Wars Fans

SAN DIEGO, CALIF. and SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF. – June 1, 2010 – Sony Online Entertainment LLC (SOE) today announced the development of Star Wars®: Clone Wars Adventures™, a free-to-play, action packed virtual world for fans of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated television series on Cartoon Network.

Developed and published by SOE, creators of the critically acclaimed kids’ game, Free Realms, and licensed by LucasArts, in conjunction with Lucasfilm Ltd., Clone Wars Adventures will launch online and in retail stores this fall.

Players can even battle it out with friends alongside iconic Star Wars characters like Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, and Ahsoka Tano.

Dat duurt nog even. Maar we kunnen er nog zeker een half jaar onze tijd mee vullen voordat Old Republic er is.

Maar waarom komen ze met zo'n game?
Willen ze proberen potentiële gamers van SWToR weg te lokken?

Trouwens dit spel gratis, hier zit een addertje onder het gras.
Content bijkopen wil je verder kunnen groeien in level denk ik.

hmm ziet er goed uit goeie grahpics. enne hier kun je echt zegge van: tis nog niet afgelope(sniuf) 🙂
maar... de wacht tijd... veel te lang joh in de herfst pas. mmaar tis het wachte waard eh?

De zomer is zo voorbij, en heb liever een game die goed af is, getest is dan half werk.
Ben benieuwd wat voor soort mensen het gaat aantrekken, gezien het een gratis MMO word, hier komen jammer genoeg ook een hoop rotzooischoppers op af denk ik

Dit is een mmo met name gericht op de kleintjes 🙂 zoals FreeRealms

Idd. Zoals Imoan aangeeft en ook in de start post staat is deze mmo gericht op het jongere publiek. Maar desondanks kan het dan nog wel leuk zijn om af en toe te spelen. Free Realms hebben we hier thuis ook met z'n allen gedaan. Deze mmo zal dan ook géén enkele bedreiging zijn voor swtor.
Gewoon geinig om af en toe een keertje te doen

Helemaal eens met Roebar en hoop dat dit op korte termijn een game wordt waar ik me harige wookie weer eens kan knuffelen !

hahaha. Nou deze harige wookiee is er helemaal klaar voor.
Maar in de tussentijd ben je natuurlijk altijd in midden aarde welkom waar het barst van de harige hobbits met een hoog knuffelgehalte ;D
