Wudang Sect: One of the most powerful sects in Age of Wulin, righteous and feared among the others, their main weapons of use are Sword/Twin Swords Taijijian, hand to hand skills such as Taijiquan will be learned at a later stage in training. Their attacks are powerful yet yielding, they can be direct or hidden. They are skilled in ranged attacks, assisting with recovery, and helping other team members, furthermore, they have very strong survival capabilities. Their main weakness is in defending themselves during ranged (AOE) combat.[8]

Shaolin Sect: Using brute force to apprehend the opponent ,they are one if not most powerful sect among them all, their main weapon is Staff and Fists,Their martial art skills are powerful and direct, the moves focus on close range attacks which inflict more damage and provide better defence thus classifying as a tank. They have great survival capabilities, also very vulnerable to long range attacks [9]

Beggars' Sect: Always punishing the evil ones and helping the ones in need ,Palms are the weapon of choice for their strong and direct power, although a staff or stick is also known to be used, Their moves inflict a great deal of damage but their defense is of less concern. They do however, on account of their knowledge in the field, have good defence against poisons. The sect is famous for its ‘Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palms’ and its ‘Dog Beating Staff Technique’, which are only passed down from a chief to his successor. The green jade staff which is carried by the chief is a symbol of his leadership.[10]

Emei Sect: A womens only sect ,righteous sect, powerful and gracious ,weapons of choice are Twin-Spears (daggers), they are weapons designed for use with two hands. They are highly regarded by the women of the sect on account of their light weight and agility. The combat moves for double-spear are as elegant and intricate as dance. They are also known to use smaller, more discrete weapons which are unique to Emei.[11]

Scholar's Academy: Neutral faction, they are highly skilled in the refined art of the sword and their ‘Limitless Sword Technique’ is renowned in the Jianghu, they also use musical instruments as weapons as well as foot techniques. The disciples of the sect utilise the magical power of music in their attack strategies, inflicting great but short-lived damage. Should they not inflict great damage in one attack, they are open to counter-attack owing to their low defensive capabilities. They can attack multiple players at the same time, but they only have limited sets of moves. They also only have limited skill in long-range combat.[12]

Tang Clan: Masters of long range attacks, they prefer to use the dagger and the flying dart as they are easily concealed, suiting their underhand methods. Tang special skills focus on controlling others, absorbing their HP and internal energy. Their hidden weapons are used for ranged attacks, but are not suited to melee attack, however, if they do win in melee attacks, they add negative BUFFS to their enemies. Their poisons are very effective and can penetrate strong defences.[13]

Blissful Valley: One of the two evil sects from Age of Wulin, they prefer to use the twin broadsword for its strong and direct power. They are also skilled in the twin-short sword, as well as in empty-hand techniques. They have special skills in creating traps and are proficient in ranged attacks, as well as defensive techniques. They can also surround themselves in a protective cloud in order to make a quick getaway.[14]

Royal Guards: The second evil sect, they prefer to use the broadsword or sword, however, they are also skilled in ‘eagle’s claw’ and the chain. They have many special skills that can increase attack to inflict great damage. They cultivate dark yin energy, forging steel-like bodies impervious to harm. However, their cool-down period is relatively long, with more usage limitations. They can also quickly alternate between attack and defence modes. (Crowd Control)[15]

Skills:

Single Sword
Double Sword
Single Blade
Double Blade
Short Stick
Long Staff
Dagger
Double Stings
Darts
Rope
Bare
Hands
Leg

OFFLINE Gaming:
One of the more intriguing features in Age of Wushu revolves around the Offline Mode. Opposed to many traditional games, in Age of Wushu when you log out of the game, your online avatar begins to live on without you as an NPC. Once offline these players are able to accumulate silver and experience for the player when they log back in. But we aren’t here to talk about the and added bonuses of being AFK, we will be delving into the fun for those that are still logged in.

Maar pas op ! Je character wordt dan gevoelig voor KIDNAPPING
When players go offline in Age of Wushu, their characters become NPCs, and those NPCs are ripe for the kidnapping. Nefarious players can attempt to knock out, kidnap, and even sell offline players. While conducting these slimy activities, players will be clearly marked for the Scumbag Steves that they are, which makes them target for both heroic players and other kidnappers.

Gathering

Woodcutter
Farmer
Hunter
Miner
Fisherman

Manufacturing

Herbalist
Chef
Blacksmith

Craftsman

Tailor
Poison Expert

Culture

Calligrapher
Musician
Weiqi Player
Painter

Street Traits

Divinator
Beggar

Kleine samenvatting:

Key Features

FIRST GAME IMPRESSION:

Schools - Emei

Although the disciples of Emei are female, they are the largest school in the Southwest thanks to their wide influence. Emei is just as big as the Shaolin and Wudang in the Middle Continent. They despise evil as a deadly foe and have a strong sense of justice, yet always ready to help the less fortunate.
